Waiting for the wedding pictures? In case you do: Relax, they're next! Just a tad of wickedy patience please, while Halloween is mercilessly knocking on our doors today!
All this month I was spellbound by this really charmed, effort full, über-creative October issue: Martha Stewart Living. The Magic of Fall.
I am already a fan - and a subscriber - but I am now officially haunted. These meticulous, beautiful, into the tiniest detail mischief-ish decorated glossies tell a story of a wicked good time!
Where you also wondering what happened to the November issue (Thanksgiving) of "Living"? It's recipes are unfinished and lack the usual inventive nature you come to expect. I think Martha spent all the money on this October issue, that is why. Scary? But I much rather have one heck of a toxic good issue instead of two poisonous lame ones. Well done Martha!
Make more faces! Happy Halloween mere mortals!

halloween
I already mentioned that Halloween is not my favorite night and this year it falls on a Friday night which is not my favorite night to go out, in addition. Most Halloween nights have a similar visual, so did this one - except that there were a couple of Obamas and Dark Knight Jokers - I guess most people dress up as the same alter ego every year and so the pictures I take are looking more or less the same old... this one I though was the most striking I took all night:

halloween
I always felt uneasy on Halloween days and nights, not because of the countless monsters running around the streets (on the other hand, it's hard to forget what it felt like being bombarded with raw eggs one year as I stepped out of my studio space, then in the "dangerous" East Village) but because I felt like everyone was jumping on my train and looked flashy all of a sudden! And my opinion is, to not need "a" day to wear what ever you want, as this should be the case every day.
But I still suggest you are "dressing up" in your favorite horror costume and get out!
about IDILVICE
- IDILVICE
- New York, NY, United States
- Just like the rare Swiss mountain flower Edelweiss - a symbol of prestige and distinction - the clothing brand IDILVICE (pronouced "Edel-vice") was born in the mountains of Switzerland and since then it's flourishing on the concrete of Manhattan and recently even in the rolling hills of the San Francisco Bay Area. However as the spelling indicates, the label is not meant to be associated with too much folkloric alpine tradition, but rather and probably in the contrary, with unconventionality. The IDILVICE label was founded in 1995 by Swiss Native fashion designer Idil from the city of Saint Gallen, Switzerland, who's foundation dates back to the 7th Century and which became famous for their quality textile products, especially embroidery textiles, which are still popular with Parisian Haute Couture designers today. In search for something less traditional, Master Graphic Designer Idil ventured out to New York City where she fell in love with American Pop Culture.
